Fascinated by Verizon's Fascinate

I've been talking about mobile phones a lot recently and I apologize if I've jumped over the "overkill" line, but I'm now excited about yet another phone. The Verizon Fascinate is part of Samsung's Galaxy line of new phones that are scheduled to be released to just about every major carrier this summer. Verizon's rendition of the phone is the only one out of the bunch that will come equipped with a flash for it's camera though, which is a total plus.

The phone itself is powered by a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen which has been regarded as one of the most gorgeous screens ever on a phone, it will be powered by android 2.1 and eventually 2.2(maybe even 3.0) and has a 1ghz hummingbird processor along with a separate, dedicated 3D processor. This phone is fast, sexy and looks like it may just make many Verizon customer's very happy.

Pricing and other details haven't been released yet, but if you follow this link you can read up about the phone a bit more.

She's a beauty alright.

Motorola's Droid 2 and Droid X scheduled to invade Verizon's shelves this July

That's right, Motorola has 2 new phones coming to Verizon this summer. One of them is the Droid 2, which is said to be the successor to the original Droid with all the same layout but more processing power and memory. The other one is the game changer for Verizon. The Droid X promises to have a 4.3 inch screen, 720P video capture, 8 megapixel camera and will most certainly be running Motorola's blur Android skin. This phone looks like it will easily dethrone the HTC Incredible and will give the iPhone 4 a run for it's money with it's 1Ghz Omap processor. Are you game? What phone are you carrying now? I've been using the original Motorola Droid now for over 6 months and have enjoyed my experience with it but it could definitely use a speed bump and it seems like this Droid X will be a great step up for customers with the original Droid or maybe a Droid Eris (which has been discontinued).

Engadget of course got a preview of the device first hand here

Count me in for one!
