Motorola's Droid 2 and Droid X scheduled to invade Verizon's shelves this July
Monday, June 21, 2010 at 3:30PM That's right, Motorola has 2 new phones coming to Verizon this summer. One of them is the Droid 2, which is said to be the successor to the original Droid with all the same layout but more processing power and memory. The other one is the game changer for Verizon. The Droid X promises to have a 4.3 inch screen, 720P video capture, 8 megapixel camera and will most certainly be running Motorola's blur Android skin. This phone looks like it will easily dethrone the HTC Incredible and will give the iPhone 4 a run for it's money with it's 1Ghz Omap processor. Are you game? What phone are you carrying now? I've been using the original Motorola Droid now for over 6 months and have enjoyed my experience with it but it could definitely use a speed bump and it seems like this Droid X will be a great step up for customers with the original Droid or maybe a Droid Eris (which has been discontinued).
Engadget of course got a preview of the device first hand here
Count me in for one!
